Stable Isotope Gas Sensors

13C sensor solutions

TSE initiated the use of isotope sensors in combination with indirect calorimetry in rodents. We now offer an economical solution for advanced substrate utilization studies using 13C while also offering solutions for 18O and 15N if this is desired. Especially the 13C solution is widely used, and more than eight systems have been delivered in the last 12 months. TSE offers the only independently validated 13C sensor in combination with indirect calorimetry in rodents. More recently, we were able to combine this 13C sensor in combination with our high-speed oxygen sensor to provide a cost-conscious all-in-one solution for indirect calorimetry, including 12/13C isotope differentiation.
